Over my 32-year career, I’ve worked as a user experience designer, an information architect, a customer experience specialist, a system designer and developer, and a manager. I’ve written in every role, but my roles have been incredibly varied.

I have a wife, three kids, a house with a pool, and a mortgage. I’ve been through IVF (three times). I’ve beaten cancer (twice). I’ve suffered from anxiety. I’ve nursed my dad on his deathbed. I’ve launched businesses. I’ve failed more than I’ve succeeded. And, nowadays, I have many more grey hairs than brown.

Only some of that relates directly to writing. Even less to your business. But all of it contributes to my skills as a writer. It gives me the perspective to develop a genuine understanding of your offering, and the empathy to develop a genuine understanding of your clients.

I get what you need and what they need — right down to all the subtle nuances that differentiate you. The nuances that even you struggle to articulate.

Of course, I also have many, many years’ experience as a strategic, high-value writer.
